The Math Genome Project
Introduction
Developed a platform designed for mathematicians, functioning as both a social network and a marketplace. The primary goal was to create a space where mathematicians could substantiate mathematical propositions and receive rewards for their contributions. Additionally, the application facilitated users in modifying their subscription plans to access enhanced features.
As a team, we were tasked with tackling some pretty complex challenges in the software development project we joined. Our objective was to nail the front-end and back-end development, creating responsive user interfaces, databases, and APIs that deliver a seamless user experience.
But that's not all - we also had to integrate third-party services into our web applications, making sure everything worked together like a well-oiled machine. And let's not forget about managing the codebase - we had to stay on top of updates, while focusing on improving functionality, scalability, and code quality.
One of our big wins was successfully integrating payment systems like Stripe and PayPal, making sure that financial transactions on our platform were secure and efficient. And to top it all off, we even added online editors for Lean4 and LaTeX, taking our platform to the next level.
It wasn't easy, but we tackled each challenge head-on with a positive attitude and a determination to deliver the best results possible. And in the end, we not only met our objectives but exceeded them, leaving our mark on the project with our hard work and creativity.
